Central Stations Renovation Project
Nitsba owns 17 central bus stations throughout Israel, in an area of approx. 300,000 sqm. The central stations are leased to various public transportation operators and retail tenants. In 2009 Nitsba launched a project to upgrade the central stations, in order to improve the service for the users of public transportation, and the appearance of the various terminals. In this upgrading process, Nitsba is engaged in optimal exercising of its rights in the properties, including increasing retail space and office space all based on the central stations areas, located mostly the center of the cities. Nitsba completed the renovation of the Netanya and Be’er Sheba central bus stations, and is currently promoting plans to renovate 6 additional central bus stations.
